Designed to distribute stunning 4K60 4:4:4 video with hardware accelerated H.265 encoding, Darwin 4K delivers exceptional image quality at remarkably low bitrates. Compact, powerful and simple to deploy, Darwin supports PoE or DC power, unicast and multicast workflows, for one to one, and one to many configurations.

Darwin 4K goes further. A single Darwin 4K RX can receive and display multiple Darwin 4K TX streams as a single multiview output. Designed for sports bars, control rooms and anywhere content needs to reach screens, Darwin 4K delivers scalable AV over IP for installations of any size.

Adding Darwin 4K Control hardware to your Darwin 4K cluster adds a ton of advanced features and simplifies management. Darwin 4K Control enables centralized WebGUI management, API support, and robust security with AES256 encryption, HTTPS, and SSH login. Dual network ports separating AV and control will keep the IT admins happy, while dual RS-232 ports and 4-channel GPIO control enable precise device management and trigger automation. Drag-and-drop routing with video previews and advanced video wall management makes managing your network of Darwin 4K Transmitters and Receivers a breeze.

Super easy Drag-and-Drop Routing.

Routing signals has never been easier. Built directly into the WebGUI is an intuitive drag and drop interface, you can quickly and easily route one to one or one to many.

Analog Audio I/O.

Analog audio is covered on both TX and RX with a left and right analog input on the Darwin TX and left and right Analog breakout on the RX. Both ends use Euroblock connecters.

HDCP 1.4.

Ensure total compatibility and compliance with copyright standards using HDCP 1.4.

PoE. DC. Or both.

Power over Ethernet (PoE) streamlines installation with a single cable delivering both power and data, alternatively you can power with the included PSU. Or use PoE and DC for power redundancy.

Unicast. Multicast.

Darwin 4K supports both Unicast and Multicast. Use Unicast for direct, one-to-one transmission, ensuring reliable performance with minimal network bandwidth. Switch to Multicast for efficient one-to-many distribution, perfect for sending the same content to multiple endpoints simultaneously.

Independent RS-232 routing.

Control each display independently with RS-232 routing, enabling precise communication between devices. Customize commands for specific endpoints without interfering with others, ensuring seamless integration and control in complex AV setups.

Advanced EDID Management.

Darwin 4K simplifies connections with advanced EDID management, featuring automatic detection, as well as the ability to load custom EDID tables directly through the WebGUI.

Darwin are all housed in an all-metal chassis for maximum ruggedness. And yes, we painted them Turtle Aqua so you know it looks cool even if mounted under a table or in a rack room where no one will ever see them.

Bring a little bling bling to your rack and mount your Darwin 4K Tx and Rx Turtles with the optional rack-mount kits. With two available options you can rack up to 12pcs of Darwin in the 4RU Rack Kit, or 4pcs in 1RU Rack Kit.

We’re calling it Turtle Aqua. You can too. The actual colour is 3262 C Pantone. We choose this colour so that even when you have them mounted in places you can see them you know they still look seriously cool.
